		<description>We used to run discount cards with groups but found them to be inconsistent in their results.  While some groups would do great with them others would have less than stellar results.  I think it all depends on the offers on the card (and the maturity of the sellers.) We find that the more &quot;traditional&quot; fundraisers yield more consistent and dependable results.

		<description>That&#039;s an interesting statistic for delays in fundraising equaling about $6 a head for each student in lost fundraising money. Running a fundraiser really is tricky though, so I totally agree that getting the right tactics from the get-go  can really make a difference in sales. Although we have noticed a good profit from the toolbar we are trying to get parents and faculty to use from www.give2network.com. Sometimes it&#039;s good to have a year-round fundraiser as well :) - which is why the give2network toolbar is actually pretty nifty.</description>
